- The area around the Rueschlikon train station is to be redesigned in the coming years. On the former SBB area of the tracks on the part of the track, the "Bahnhof Sued" project is to be created with six new buildings with 37 inexpensive apartments, small businesses and a local supplier. The voters haveapproved the corresponding design plan in November 2017. The municipality is the property developer for the part on the Bahnhofplatz side (Hauser I (a) - III (c)). For the part of Thalwil (Houses IV (D) - VI (F)), the municipal council determined the Rueschlikon Foundation.
