- The upper and lower Aare bridges were built by the BLS in 1915. The bridges are designed as tilted, riveted truss bridges over two fields.
This project will repair the bridges for another period of use. The measures include the superstructure, pillars and abutments.
This essentially includes the following work:
. Reinforcement of threshold beams
. Reinforcement of the cross members
. Replacement the gratings of the official route
. Replacement of cable duct
. Various repair work
