Description:
Improve the performance of the Parliament by a) strengthening parliamentary oversight, b) improving the quality of legislation, and c) enhancing communication between the Parliament and citizens. This is to be achieved through a combination of capacity-building, expert advice on refining parliamentary rules and processes, and measures to strengthen a culture of scrutiny, oversight and accountability in the Parliament. Punctual measures aimed at improving the endowment of IT equipment of the Parliament in order to strengthen outreach and efficiency of Parliament-s work and, in turn, the e-governance capacities of the legislative can also be foreseen.
