Description:
The city of Thun, the Swiss Football Association and private investors are working together to develop and coordinate the sports and leisure cluster in Thun West. The Thun West area is a development focus for the city of Thun. Therefore, the perimeter and the immediate neighborhood will develop significantly in the coming years. The Swiss Football Association is planning to build a football campus called Swiss Football Home. The private investors are pursuing the construction of a sports and leisure facility for various sports. In a first step (phase 1), the common foundations and interfaces are developed for the respective clusters using appropriate quality assurance widely agreed that in a second step (Phase 2) an independent but coordinated development of the clusters will be possible. The study assignment advertised here focuses on phase 1. Accordingly, it is important to coordinate how the new ones will work Adding sports facilities to the existing structure, how interfaces are solved and how existing situations can be further developed and upgraded. In addition to topics such as access or overarching questions about outdoor space design, it is central to create a common image of the sports and leisure cluster. At the same time, the framework conditions for high-quality development with the greatest possible added value for the Thun population and synergies between the various uses will be defined explored (common history based on an overall view).
