The chopper system is used to generate a pulsed neutron beam from the continuous beam on the ICON, NEUTRA and BOA instruments to achieve wavelength-resolved neutron imaging measurements based on the time-of-flight (ToF) method. to carry out. For this purpose, the chopper system is used in combination with a detector system, which is not part of this tender. The chopper system is not permanently installed in an instrument, but rather according to it installed and removed in the desired instrument using an experimental measurement program.
