Description:
Based on Article 35 of the CO2 Act of December 23, 2011 (SR 641.71) and the associated execution provisions (Art. 114 to 118 of the CO2 regulation of November 30, 2012, SR 641.711), the federal government can guarantee the maximum amount of CHF 3 million to companies in whole or in part,develop and market the new technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, to promote the use of renewable energies and to protect natural resources. These companies receive an assurance if the assessment is positive. The guarantee becomes banks or othersgranted suitable loans. Since the start of the technology fund in 2015, a total of 212 guarantees have been issued by the end of 2024.
