Description:
The Turpenriet in the municipality of Kirchberg is shown as a flat bog, as a nature reserve and as an amphibian spawning area. The canton of St. Gallen provides to renovate the amphibian control system comprehensively and to adapt to today's needs. The control system is dismantled. The project comprises the creation of four approx. 12.50 m long amphibian leaves with a dimension of 1.0 m x 0.60 m. A tail with a length of approx. 216 m on the north side and approx. 263 m on the south side of the Strasse is to be created. In addition, three amphibian tops for access are created. Due to the protected moor areas, the work must be done from the street and the dam crown. It is not permitted to drive the damp moor areas.
