- Description:
- The Central building of the University of Bastions is currently being transformed and renovated. This call for tenders concerns the creation of custom furniture in a room with significant heritage value, namely the Reverdin aula. The project consists to recreate a layout close to the historic state dating from 1940-44 while integrating current standards (e.g. fire resistance of materials) and new technologies linked to comfort and audiovisual. Based on a study historical, the armchairs and tablets were designed to match the aesthetics of the original furniture while having been adapted to suit today's expectations. The specifications describe a desired development principle but must surely be adapted according to technical constraints and the existing state of the aula. In this sense, a phase of development of details and the creation of prototypes is planned to verify the proper functioning of the furniture in coordination with the awarding company and the various stakeholders.
