Description:
Following the construction of the new children's hospital (HE) and the execution of related projects carried out to the north of the main hospital building (BH), the restoration of external arrangements must be initiated. This project will requalify the space between the BH and the HE which will become theHeart of the hospital city, functional link between the different buildings and pleasure garden for our patients, their loved ones and for all the employees of the CHUV. This new esplanade project should allow pedestrians to connect the various buildings of the hospital city insafety, crossing appropriate areas conducive to relaxation. In addition, vehicles
having to access the CHUV, as much for patients as for vehicles necessary for logistics, will be able to circulate in areas which are their own and which will offer them paths andDedicated maneuvering squares without pushing the safety of pedestrian users.
The project includes pedestrian areas in stabilized coating or colorful coat type.
These spaces will be decorated with relaxation islets with vegetation allowing to enjoy the shadow of plantations. A stop, sortHill created on the entrance to the Garage des Ambulances (GA), will allow users to enjoy a place of calm and rest.
