SBB intends to procure vehicle batteries for the vehicle types 501 (Giruno) and 502 (FV-Dosto). These batteries are particularly essential for the operation of the electrical electrical system, the control functions and the emergency power supply. The aim is, durable, sustainable andTo obtain powerful batteries that can be seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure.
The replacement planning extends over several years, probably years 2026 - 2032.
These battery systems exist with battery trough (container) in two different variants. TheThe batteries are replaced in a ratio of 1: 1, whereby the existing installation positions and fastening points on the vehicles are preserved.
The existing battery troughs must be reused.
