- The project is to be upgraded by the Winterthur - Weinfelden route for the 2035 timetable requirement. For this purpose, a reduction in the tensile sequence time (adaptation of the signals) and a signal -free equipment with alternating operation is planned. In Rickenbach-Atikon and Islikon, the signal boxes are replaced. These are housed in two new railway technology buildings, which should also also absorb the rest of the rail technology.
