Description:
A new fire department building is to be built for the Kilchberg-Rueschlikon safety association. The existing location is in the middle of a residential area on Alte Landstrasse in Kilchberg and no longer meets today's requirements. Also located on the same property the workshop of the municipality of Kilchberg. In order to free up the area for more suitable uses and to better utilize synergies between both companies, a new joint building is to be built on the Im Tal area. The competition entry armadillo by Allemann Bauer Eigenmann Architects is intended for this purpose and Bueeler Fischli civil engineers (formerly Aerni+Aerni engineers). To supplement the planning team, this tender will be used to procure a planning office for planning building technology (heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, building automation and specialist coordination).
