- The infrastructure of Aare Seeland mobil AG (asm) is divided into two sub-networks West (Seeland) and East (Oberaargau/Solothurn), each with separate workshop and storage facilities. The existing workshop and storage facilities are to be adapted to the future ones needs or requirements of the rolling stock to be maintained. Due to longer trains, this is only possible with expansions of existing locations or new locations. A study was created for this purpose (cf. Tender documents) to define the future locations and functions for the workshop and storage facilities. In the West subnetwork, the existing Täuffelen location is designed for 30m trains and does not offer any expansion options. The second The location in Siselen is to be expanded as a parking facility with a workshop and designed for 90m trains in the future. The expanded Siselen site is scheduled to go into operation in 2034. In the East sub-network, the existing Wiedlisbach location is to be used as Parking facility and for light maintenance will be expanded so that 60m trains can be maintained in the future. The second Langenthal location is to be expanded and upgraded as a workshop so that 60m trains can also be repaired in the future. The Inbetriebnahme für Wiedlisbach ist für 2035 vorgesehen, nach Möglichkeit jedoch bereits zum Fahrplanwechsel 2032/2033 (Einführung 1/4-Stunden-Takt).
