Description:
In Birkenweg 11 in Nidau, the community of Nidau operates a heating network with two wooden boilers and a gas boiler. The heat generators have reached their technical lifespan and must therefore be replaced. The Bielersee AG (EVB) is planning a new heating network and the existing Heating center of the community is to serve as a location for the heating center for the new heat composite. The existing heating center is to be expanded and the performance of the heat generators is to be increased. Now two wooden kettles with 1,500 kW each as a base load and an oil/gas boiler with 800 kW for the Top load and redundancy are installed. The heating center is converted in two stages. In the first stage, the first wooden boiler and the fossil kettle are to be installed including all installations such as memory, fireplace, expansion, etc. The second stage includes the installation of the Second wooden boiler. The heat network is to be continuously implemented and expanded. It is also planned that the new heat is connected to the EVB sea water heating network.
